Great Chinese place that reminds me of the Northeast US.

Don't EVER risk eating here! I can't say enough BAD things about this place. Their sub-par food is way over-priced, probably twice the amount of other comparable Chinese restaurants. The husband and wife team is extremely rude, arrogant and miserable. Though they claim to offer delivery service, when you call to request it they tell you they can't because they're too busy. We recently ordered a $50 meal, which we had to drive to pick up since they were "too busy" to accommodate us. After arriving home with the food we realized the meals were completely different than what we ordered. I called and the wife answered (she had taken my order a half hour prior) and told me that I was wrong, and that I had indeed ordered what they gave me. She screamed at and insulted me, telling me she doesn't have time for me because she has other orders to take care of. All I had asked was for her to reimburse me for the wrong orders, or to make the correct order and I'd drive back to get it. She said the only way she would give me the right order was if I brought the wrong orders back (was she planning on serving them to someone else?!). I told her we had already eaten a piece out of it, which was how we determined that the order was wrong, and she then refused to remake my order. I feel robbed and insulted. Their blatant lack of customer service ensures that we'll never patronize this establishment again.

Thank god we found this place. it's a little expensive for lunch but was delicious and did not taste like it was filled with sodium. I got the shrimp lo mein and it was the closest to authentic new York Chinese I've had down here. The wonton soup was so yummy and the pork tasted like true pork not some mystery food. My boss had the steamed shrimp and broccoli and the spare ribs (she loved both) We order out a lot at our office and pay separately so I was excited to know they have the wireless credit card processor and they run everything in front of you and can split the checks up. I look forward to ordering from here again.

We've been ordering from here for 10 years. Usually on New Year's Eve.. But also a few times a year. Love it! I like the Singapore noodles. I'm not a fan of eating there because most of the guests are over 70 and grumpy.. So we just get take out.

Had lunch last week with Ernie, should have noticed not very busy! Luncheon portions meager, quality poor, hot and sour one of the worst ever had. Beef with peapods and fried rice just fair will not go back!!

The food is good, and consistent. The service on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. I have called many times for delivery and it always feels like I'm being rushed by someone having a bad day, lol it makes my blood pressure rise and I'm only 33. It's nice inside the restaurant and delivery is usually pretty quick. I will say that only sometimes do they know what strawmushrooms are, I guess it depends whom I speak with. I always order chicken with strawmushrooms, which is excellent there... when they remember what a strawmushroom is and that they do in fact have them. I had it for delivery on a Monday and then on weds when I called I was told that they never heard of that vegetable.... not a big deal, I prefer China Garden anyway

Beautiful inside. Food good quality. Fair prices. My husband and I have been looking for a Chinese restaurant for 5 years. So many disappointments. This was not. Nice restaurant. We will be going back.

Above average for Florida but still nowhere near the quality of Chinese food encountered in Manhattan or Westchester NY. Very nice, quiet, tastefully decorated interior was a huge plus. Lunch specials are priced under ten dollars and include soup, egg roll, and a small sized entree. Hot and sour soup will be loaded with ground pork, a turnoff for me. Utensils/dishes were not clean. Hard noodle bowl apparently remains on table all day serving consecutive diners like table sauce. The problem here is that you spoon out table sauce but pick through hard noodles with your fingers. Service was attentive. Good value only for lunch.

I got the General Tso's chicken lunch special and it was tangy, sweet and with a little kick to it. Very yummy! I order here all the time and today's food was the best yet! :D

I was in the mood for Chinese, so after arriving from the airport and ready for dinner on a yucky rainy evening we came here. This is where my grandparents eat at most of the time. It was busy for a Sunday evening, but were seated right away. There always a bowl of dry noodles on every table waiting. What we got was chicken lo main no veggies with steamed rice combination plate- it was really good I was able to finish it. Grandparents had the ribs combination and something else sry I don't remember at the moment. It all came with waton soup and egg rolls. All was enjoyed and the only leftover we had was an egg roll and a spare rib. This place gives you ice cream for dessert with a choice of vanilla, chocolate, and sherbet. You may mix any of three. All in all was a good dinner and I would come back again next time I'm visiting. My grandma had a 10% off coupon for here.

I've recently been here with my fiance while we were on vacation. Their chicken lettuce wraps were DELICIOUS! We also ordered their spicy wontons and orange chicken which were also pretty good. They were very generous with the amount of meat too! We will definitely be back to try their other dishes next time we're in Florida.

Food is definitely above average to good. Don't expect the quality of food you'd get at a sit down Asian restaurant. The food mirrors a pick up/delivery style Chinese restaurant. They add lots of extras; crunchy noodles, tea, sauces, however the portions aren't really that big. I'd go again especially since many of the other local quick Chinese spots seem to have awful reviews.

This quaint little corner Chinese is the closest to a good neighborhood New York restaurant. The very attentive waiter had real fried wonton skin noodles. The soups were right on. The egg roll, yes the real kind with pork, not spring rolls, was not greasy and was crisp. Fried rice with pork and egg, now there is something novel. The shrimp were of good size, cooked properly, and the lobster sauce, get this, had ground pork, scallions, egg and it was the proper consistency. Not bad for a $10.00 lunch. The regular menu was reasonably priced too.

Their food is good but they are stingy,no meat in their wonton. I feel like an established restaurant should not skim on food like that

Excellent Chinese food. Closest New York type Chinese food in the area. Will definitely go back again to try more entrees. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food. Only complaint is a very "weak" wonton soup.

We were looking for a decent Chinese restaurants since we move down to Delray about seven months ago. A friend suggested Hunan Gardens and we reluctantly decided to try this Shopping Ctr., Chinese restaurant. We were delighted to find it was a clean and attractive restaurant and the food was very good New York style Chinese food. It's as good as any of the Chinese restaurant I frequented in Brooklyn and Queens and a little bit better. It's going to be our go to place for Chinese food in Delray.

I have eaten here many times and although the food is good I will never return. The owners are not nice - and I could accept that to a degree. While waiting for a table for four we saw the owner screaming at a take-out customer with a disability, insisting the customer was wrong. The customer claimed she received the wrong order. The owner was so abusive my party of four walked out. If you have any principles don't give them your business!

Called to place an order for delivery and the woman who answered became angry with me because my address is not in a community or development. She then proceeded to tell me that my address was outside their delivery range (which it isnt) and hung up on me immediately after. I dont care how good the food might be, service still matters.

Wprst chinese i've ever put in my mouth. I ordered take out- First of all, the guy who took my order was EXTREMELY rude. The food was so bad that I threw it out and ordered from a different chinese place that I know is good. The sauce, the won tons, the soup, the veggies, literally everything was disgusting and beyond low quality. Will never be back.

The food is outstanding. I've been coming here for 20+ years. I've never had a bad meal. Highly recommend the chicken fried rice.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
